HDPE PIPES
HDPE pipes are manufactured in black colour, with four longitudinally coextruded lines whose colour depends on their specific purpose. HDPE pipes are used for:
- transport of liquids (drinking water supply, drainage of precipitation water)
- transport of gas
- protective tubes (protection of telecommunication cables, energy supply and optical fibre cables)
HDPE pipes with a maximum diameter of DN 110 are available in 100-m coils, and those with a diameter exceeding DN 110 in 6-m or 12-m rods.
Material
HDPE pipes are made of High Density Polyethylene (HDPE) and have excellent physical and chemical properties. Their handling and laying are facilitated by their low specific weight and very high flexibility. Their smooth walls prevent any sedimentation. They are absolutely waterproof, resistant to chemicals and acids, and show high impact strength (high strength and resilience).
