DRAINAGE PIPES

The application focus of drainage pipes can be seen from their name; they are used for drainage of construction and other sites with considerable quantities of water. They are produced under the brand name ›A‹ DREN pipes, are yellow in color, and meet the requirements of the norm DIN 1187, according to which the quality of all contemporary drainage pipes manufactures are tested.
While being laid into the ground, drainage pipes may be covered with filter material, for the purpose of increasing the hydraulic power of drainage and preventing obstructions in the pipes.

Material

Today, at a time of the application of new materials and new technological processes instead of classical materials, plastic materials have been increasingly used. For drainage pipes, the material used is PVC.
Drainage pipes are installed either by machine or manually, depending on the area to be drained. In agriculture, where the areas are much bigger, the pipes are installed by machine because the process is much more efficient and quicker.
The corrugated pipe system has an additional groove on each perforated rib, which contributes considerably to a quicker access of water to the slit from the area around drainage pipes.
Drainage pipes are available in the range between DN 50 and DN 200 in diameter, and are delivered in 50-m coils.
