PHONO-LINE
Phonoline is the most wide-spread low-noise pipeline system, presenting the best solution for optimum noise isolation of residential, hotel and other buildings. Its quality and reliability are exceptional. It is available in seven different dimensions with a broad portfolio of connective parts, making its use simple and allowing higher flexibility for designers, operators and mounting technicians. As opposed to the most oft he existing low-noise systems, phonoline is 100% compatible with standard home pipe-line systems and requires no installation adaptors to horizontal water discarge or pipeline net.
The entire system is tested and certified by FRAUNHOFER - INSTITUT FUR
BAPHYSIK, STUTTGART and complies with standards EN ISO/IEC 17025 and DIN 4109.
Product description
Phonoline pipes and connective parts for water discharge are made of mineral-reinforced thermoplastics. They are packed for the transfer in an optimum and safe way – in cardboard boxes (connections and small dimension pipes) and on palettes (large dimension pipes).
Phonoline system pipes are grey and white coulour RAL 9002 with nozzle bushing and O-rings. They are used mostly in multi-storey buildings requiring noise isolation (e.g. hotels, residential buildings, appartments), and can also be used as vertical and horizontal pipe system for faecal material and rainwater discharge.
Mounting
The entire pipeline and connective part system is very convenient and simple in handling, mainly due to low weight and pipe connection mode. They are available in different dimensions, their dry connection system with nozzle bushing and O-rings saves time and makes mounting simple.
It is advised to avoid abrupt direction changes when mounting is in question, as well as the number of strike zones, as this helps to decrease noise. Practically it would mean that it is better to change from vertical to horizontal direction with two 45° knees with a short piece of pipe in between than with a 90° knee.
Customer expectations and changing standard construction conditions require competitiveness from designers and executors and Phonoline low-noise system is in line with modern construction trends; Phonoline is the right way to invest int he future.
Characteristics
- resistence to fungi and bacteria
- resistence to abrasion
- electric isolation
- smooth internal surfaces
- resistence to strikes
- resistence to corrosion
- inflammability
Technical features
- Density 1.75 g/cm 3
- Fire resistence - class M1 in compliance with NF P 92501
(class M1 is the best plastic performance, while the majority of other low-noise systems is classified as B2)
- Linear expansion coefficient: 0,04 mm / m x °C (the majority of existing low-noise systems have double or even higher expansion)
- The highest permitted noise level in residential areas shouldn't be above 40 dB during the day and 30 dB during the night (valid for the Republic of Croatia).
